Job summary

Silfex, a Lam Research Company, seeks a Plant Manager to lead production, safety, and continuous improvement at its Springfield, Ohio facility. You will drive lean initiatives, coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, and coach teams to optimize throughput and quality while meeting cost targets.

This role requires 4–6 years in engineering or production management, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean/Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints.
• Ability to plan, organize, and continuously improve production areas.
• Cross-train staff to improve workforce flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, environmentally compliant work area.
• Track KPIs and drive corrective actions to meet targets.
• Lead production scheduling and staffing to meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Coach supervisors and frontline staff on lean concepts and continuous improvement.
