Job summary

Silfex, Inc., a Lam Research Company, in Ohio, seeks a Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. You will oversee production scheduling, safety, and continuous improvement on the shop floor, ensuring customer commitments are met with high quality and efficiency.

You will coach staff, drive Lean initiatives, and coordinate with engineering and maintenance to reduce scrap and downtime, while maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 4–6 years of supervisory experience.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma experience required.
• Knowledge of factory processes including production planning and staffing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, environmentally compliant work area.
• Track KPIs, implement corrective actions, and uphold accountability.
• Coach the production floor staff to achieve targets and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Drive daily continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.
