Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Exton, PA is seeking a Shift Leader to captain bakery operations during day or night, delivering excellent customer service, leading the Cookie Crew, managing tasks, and ensuring safe, clean conditions.

You will supervise baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning, train teammates, handle cash deposits, and help maintain standards while fostering a fun, energetic team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer-service experience.
• POS systems experience required.
• Strong communication, time management and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Lead-by-example mindset with ability to motivate others.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and high-quality products to guests in our bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning tasks while leading the Cookie Crew.
• Collaborate with and support the Cookie Crew.
• Ensure a safe, clean working environment and safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
