Job summary

Insomnia Cookies in Universal City Walk is hiring a Shift Leader who will captain the bakery by night or day. You will balance customer service, baking, operations, and team coaching to own the shift and ensure safety and quality.

You’ll lead by example on the bakery floor, manage tasks, train crew, handle cash deposits, and keep a fun, fast-paced environment. Benefits include paid time off, daily pay options, and employee cookies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented with results focus.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and high-quality products during your shift.
• Maintain operations and communicate information to store leadership.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning.
• Lead the Cookie Crew and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Manage cash handling and deposits as needed.
