Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to run daily bakery operations, bake and pack orders, and deliver outstanding guest service. You will coach the Cookie Crew and delegate tasks to keep the bakery efficient while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Join a fast-paced team that delights guests with warm cookies all day and into the night. As the lead on duty, you’ll ensure smooth shifts, manage cash and deposits, and communicate with store leadership to keep the bakery running

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to obtain food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering great guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members, providing direction, feedback, and support throughout the shift.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations running efficiently and meet guest demand.
• Help maintain our standards for product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate important updates and partner with store leadership to optimize bakery operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help your team succeed.
