Lexington Health Northeast Emergency Department in West Columbia, SC, is hiring a Lead Patient Access Representative for the Night Shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) to greet and register ED patients and collect demographic and financial information for accurate billing and medical records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare or customer service.
• Familiar with medical terminology and billing; basic business writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register ED patients; obtain demographic and financial information for billing and records.
• Obtain consent, signatures, and copies of IDs/insurance cards.
• Assist in supervising ED registration in the absence of leadership; relay issues to supervisors.
