Job summary

CMTS, LLC is seeking a Construction Project Representative – Night Shift to join our Los Angeles team. This full-time, on-site role supports inspection, field coordination, and contract administration for major landside improvements at LAX.

The night-shift position requires coordination with LAWA, Caltrans, and city departments, plus diligent reporting, safety compliance, and documentation of daily construction activities to ensure projects meet plans, specs, and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Combination of education and directly relevant construction experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with LAWA Construction Inspection Division during nightly field inspections.
• Verify activities align with approved plans, specifications, and standards.
• Prepare daily reports documenting contractor activities, quantities, and field conditions.
• Maintain project records including conformed plans, photos, and as-built documentation.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, field directives, change notices, and change orders.
• Support safety, traffic control, environmental, and SWPPP requirements.
