AdventHealth Tampa seeks a Certified Surgical Technician for our night shift to prepare sterile instruments and assist in the sterile field. You will support surgeons during complex procedures, verify counts, and help ensure patient safety throughout operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of validation skills and sterile technique knowledge required.
• Minimum one year scrub experience in a multi-disciplinary surgical service.
• BLS certification and CST credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile dressings and instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists with terminal cleaning and setup for next patient.
• Maintains sterile field and passes instruments to the surgeon during procedures.
• Performs counts and ensures patient safety during operations.
