Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver seeks a Surgical Technician to assist in preparing the operating room, sterilizing supplies, and supporting surgical procedures. You will help prep back tables, label medications, and ensure proper setup for the surgeon’s preference card.

This role requires CST or NTSC credentials and BLS, with a background in a surgical setting. High school completion and vocational training are required, and there is potential for growth within medical services and patient care teams at

Qualifications

High School Grad or Equiv [Required].
Technical/Vocational School [Required].
Completion of an approved Surgical Technician program.
1+ experience in a surgical setting [Preferred].
Experience in a specialty field [Preferred].
Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) [Required].
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) OR Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) [Required].

Responsibilities

Assists with terminal cleaning of the operating room and prepares the room for the next patient.
Prepares and sterilizes supplies and equipment used in procedures.
Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications.
Prepares back table and mayo stand per surgeon's preference card.
