Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of validation skills and knowledge of sterile technique and equipment.
• Licensure or certification requirements as applicable (e.g., CST, BLS).
• Educational background supporting surgical technology responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Check supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub, gown, and glove for surgical procedures.
• Set up sterile table with instruments and meds for procedures.
• Assist surgeon and team, maintain sterile field and counts.
• Prepare dressings and instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Support room cleaning and prep for next case.
