Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Irving, TX seeks an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a permanent night shift. You will care for mothers and newborns through labor, delivery and immediate postpartum, delivering patient-centered care in a high-stakes obstetric unit.

Requirements include ADN or BSN, active RN license in Texas or compact, 1.5+ years L&D/Antepartum experience, BLS/ACLS/NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• RN-level obstetric care experience required.
• Active RN license in Texas or Compact State.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• AWHONN fetal monitoring cert within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care during labor, delivery and recovery.
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and maternal vitals; initiate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists and care teams.
• Educate mothers and families on labor, delivery options and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate and compliant EHR documentation.
