Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a permanent night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) providing high-quality obstetric care for mothers and newborns.

The role requires ADN or BSN, current RN license, 1.5+ years in L&D or antepartum, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP) with AWHONN fetal monitoring training within 30 days of hire. Competitive pay plus relocation and sign-on bonuses.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN).
Active RN license (Texas or Compact State).
Minimum 1.5 years L&D or antepartum RN experience.
BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and recovery.
Monitor, interpret, and document fetal heart patterns and maternal vital signs, initiating interventions as needed.
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and interdisciplinary teams for optimal maternal-fetal outcomes.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery options, and early postnatal/newborn care.
Support a unit-wide culture of safety with meticulous EHR documentation.
