Job summary

Saint Peter’s Health Care System in New Jersey is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for part-time night shifts to join our Magnet-recognized team. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong assessment and documentation skills, plus NJ RN license, BLS, NRP, ACLS, and OB training. We offer competitive pay, prorated for part-time status, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• NRP Part I certification required.
• NRP Part II certification obtained during orientation.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.
• National Fetal Monitor certification obtained during orientation.
• Special OB course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine patient health status per Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies per policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
