Job summary

Capital Health in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift. You will provide quality patient care within a collaborative team, following the nursing process and safety policies. This role includes every other weekend and every other holiday.

The position offers a pay range of $45.60–$62.59 per hour for a 1.0 FTE, with variable hours and part-time status reflected in compensation; benefits and opportunities for professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred.
• Credentials: AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, RN - NJ.
• TNCC and CNE hours if certain units.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification or obtain within orientation.
• NRP, PALS as required by unit.
• CPR requirements and related credentials.
• Usual work day: 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality care to patients through a team effort using the nursing process.
• Ensures patient safety by following policies and procedures.
• Supports pain management and comfort measures for patients and families.
• Documents and communicates discharge planning to maximize meaningful activities.
• Participates in performance improvement and committees.
