Job summary

Capital Health in Hopewell, NJ is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery for part-time night shifts, every other weekend and every other holiday. You will provide direct patient care, monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, and support families.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing, NJ RN license, BLS, and obstetric-specific certifications. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in unit-based projects, and ensure safe patient

Qualifications

Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent required.
NJ RN license required.
AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, NRP, PALS or ENPC certifications may be required depending on unit.
Ability to demonstrate nursing skills and knowledge with evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process from assessment to discharge.
Ensure patient safety, administer medications, and support pain management.
Coordinate with the care team and plan discharge while educating patients and families.
Participate in performance improvement activities and Joint Commission readiness.
Assist with staffing and respond to unit needs as a team member.
