Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; associate degree in Allied Health preferred.
• 1 year of experience in SQL/LSA clinical laboratory environment or 2 years with leadership/training experience.
• National phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, CLIA/CAP accreditation requirements, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations and workflow within the section.
• Lead QA/QC activities and ensure records meet accrediting standards.
• Monitor section finances and supply usage; participate in cost-reduction initiatives.
• Participate in staff training, hiring, and performance development.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals on test orders and results.
