Job summary

Banner Gateway is seeking a Test Management (Phlebotomy) Coordinator for the evening shift in Gilbert, AZ. The role oversees daily operational flow, QC/QA activities, and cross-functional coordination with physicians, nurses and staff.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and performance monitoring within the Laboratory Services in alignment with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• One year of SQL/LSA clinical lab experience or two years of leadership/training experience.
• Associate degree in Allied Health or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and procedures used in the section.
• Familiarity with regulatory/accreditation requirements (CAP/CLIA/JCAHO).

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational oversight and shift scheduling.
• Review QC records and ensure QA compliance.
• Monitor section finances and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Lead training, coaching, and new employee orientation.
• Act as liaison with physicians and staff; participate in committees.
