Job summary

Antech Diagnostics is seeking a dedicated Specimen Processor to handle receiving, preparing, and processing samples for lab analyses. This role supports the lab by accurately handling requisitions, labeling, and data entry, ensuring timely processing and specimen storage.

The position requires a high school diploma, 0–1 years of related work experience, and strong attention to detail. Weekend coverage is required; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 years related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and prepares samples for laboratory analyses.
• Accurately process standard requisitions per approved procedures at expected rates.
• Enter patient data, label samples and aliquot as needed for multiple testing.
• Ensure Turn Around Times (TAT’s) are met.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a clean, organized work area.
