Job summary

Momsmeals in North Jackson, OH is seeking a Lead Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy in the facility. This hands-on role involves about 50% physical counting, FEFO and lot-code tracking, and supporting day-to-day operational issues.

You will analyze root causes with the Inventory Specialist, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory coordination in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience in production environments, preferably food manufacturing.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to develop clear spreadsheets and reports.
• Ability to count inventory accurately and track FEFO and lot codes.
• Must obtain lift certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Physically count items in inventory using appropriate processes and forms.
• Build and use reports to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Reconcile and resolve any secondary inventory count records.
• Update ERP/WMS system with count results and related inventory data.
• Maintain and report KPIs around first-pass accuracy.
• Ensure Root Cause Reports are completed by Inventory Control Specialist.
• Manage team to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement to streamline product flow and system scans.
• Set up cross-functional corrective action plans to eliminate root causes.
