Mom's Meals | A Purfoods Company is hiring a Lead Inventory Control Specialist in North Jackson, OH. The role is hands-on, with about 50% inventory counting (FEFO, lot code tracking) and the rest spent investigating root causes and implementing permanent corrective actions with supervisory staff.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in cycle counting or inventory coordination, plus Excel proficiency and lift certification within 30 days of start. Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ Cycle Count or Inventory Coordination experience required.
• Cross-functional team building or cross-functional meeting experience preferred.
• Effective cross-functional communication.
• Proficiency in Excel for clear spreadsheets and reports.
• Must obtain lift certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Physically count items in inventory and use appropriate processes and forms.
• Build and use reports to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Reconcile and resolve any second inventory count records.
• Update ERP/WMS system with Count Results and related inventory data.
• Maintain and report KPIs around first-pass accuracy.
• Ensure Root Cause Report is filled out by Inventory Control Specialist.
• Manage team to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline product flow and system scans.
• Coordinate cross-functional corrective actions to address root causes.
