Job summary

Mom's Meals in North Jackson, OH seeks a Lead Inventory Control Specialist to ensure inventory accuracy through hands-on counting, FEFO and Lot Code tracking, and to support operational issues. You will split time between physical counts and root-cause analysis, partnering with Inventory Specialists to implement permanent corrective actions and drive continuous improvement in ERP/WMS data integrity.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 11pm–7am; employment is contingent on passing pre-employment drug

Qualifications

High school Diploma or GED is required.
2+ years of cycle count or inventory coordination experience.
Experience building cross-functional teams or leading cross-functional meetings.
Strong cross-functional communication abilities.
Proficiency in Excel; able to develop clear spreadsheets and reports.
Must obtain lift certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

Physically count items in inventory and use appropriate processes and forms.
Build and use reports to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Reconcile and resolve second inventory count records.
Update ERP/WMS with count results and items affecting inventory integrity.
Maintain and report KPIs around first-pass accuracy.
Ensure Root Cause Report is completed by Inventory Control Specialist.
Manage team to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline product flow and system scans.
Proactively set up cross-functional corrective action plans to eliminate root causes.
