Job summary

Mom in North Jackson, OH is seeking a Lead Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory accuracy and lead continuous improvement efforts. The role involves hands-on counting, FEFO and lot code tracking, plus root-cause analysis with senior staff.

Approximately 50% of the day is spent counting and ensuring data integrity, while the remainder focuses on investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions with cross-functional teams. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00am–3:00pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' Cycle Count or Inventory Coordination experience.
• Cross-functional communication and collaboration across teams.
• Proficient in Excel; able to develop clear spreadsheets and reports.
• Must obtain lift certification within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Physically count items in inventory and ensure FEFO and Lot Code tracking.
• Build and use reports to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Reconcile and resolve second inventory count records.
• Update ERP/WMS system with count results and inventory integrity impacts.
• Maintain and report KPIs around first-pass accuracy.
• Ensure Root Cause Report is completed by Inventory Control Specialist.
• Lead a team to achieve 100% inventory accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement to streamline product flow and scans.
• Set up cross-functional corrective actions to eliminate root causes.
