Virtua Health in Camden seeks a Patient Care Tech for Interventional Cardiology to support daily living activities, vital signs, and basic tests. The role requires completion of a PCT/CNA program or equivalent experience and a valid BLS certificate. You will work under RN/LPN supervision in a fast-paced setting.

The position is per diem night shift with a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and patient education; benefits include medical coverage and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed PCT course or CNA program, or 1 year of direct patient care.
• BLS certification required; phlebotomy training preferred for ED roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting).
• Perform vital signs, point-of-care testing, bladder scanning, and Foley care.
• May perform phlebotomy and EKGs if certified.
• Report changes in patient status to RN/LPN and participate in education for patients and families.
