Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance or utility operations.
• Experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC, and related utility systems.
• Ability to read P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Willingness to work on-call, varying shifts, weekends, or holidays.
• Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, tanks, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Plan materials for service, repair, and preventive maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and process lines.
• Maintain CMMS records and follow all safety/environmental protocols.
• Provide direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.
• Monitor and operate plant utility systems (boilers, chillers, HVAC, etc.).
• Respond to alarms, assist with startup/shutdown, and emergency procedures.
