Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Specialist to support a state-of-the-art electric vehicle battery manufacturing campus. You will oversee safe operation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and reliability of facility infrastructure and utility systems, including HVAC, chilled water, steam, water, and BAS components.

Ideal candidates bring seven or more years in industrial maintenance within manufacturing or utilities, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade cert preferred.
• Journeyman-level mechanical/HVAC/electrical certs preferred.
• 7+ years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or utilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical facility infrastructure and HVAC equipment.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per CMMS work orders.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control failures; implement fixes.
• Repair or replace pumps, motors, valves, belts, and piping systems to restore uptime.
• Document maintenance actions and equipment histories; support reliability improvements.
