Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Operations and Maintenance Specialist to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of facility and utility systems at a large North American EV battery campus. You will maintain HVAC, chilled water, steam, pumps, BAS, and related equipment, ensuring safety and uptime in a 24/7 high‑performance plant.

The role requires seven years of hands-on industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and ability to read P&IDs and control

Qualifications

Minimum seven (7) years of industrial maintenance in manufacturing or utilities environments.
Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to read P&IDs, one-line diagrams, and control drawings.
LOTO and safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

Inspect, operate, maintain, and repair critical facility infrastructure, HVAC equipment, and mechanical utility systems.
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance using CMMS.
Diagnose mechanical/electrical failures and implement permanent fixes.
Support RCFA/RCM and continuous improvement programs.
Coordinate with operations and engineers to safely execute maintenance.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and regulatory documents.
