Job summary

Flowers Foods in Tolleson, AZ is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Supervisor (5pm-5am) to lead hourly maintenance staff and ensure plant safety and uptime. You will work with plant leaders to drive preventive maintenance, safety, and quality standards.

You will manage shift activities, mentor technicians, coordinate parts and SAP work requests, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to company policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; high school diploma or equivalent also acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor on shift; schedule and manage hourly staff; perform PMs; manage line calls.
• Communicate oncoming shift preparation/meeting with previous and next shifts.
• Review parts requests and manage parts checked out on shift (Parts Tag Receipt).
• Utilize SAP to review work requests, PM orders, and update breakdown notifications.
• Execute small scale maintenance projects.
• Train and coach technicians and apprentices.
• Conduct critical process inspections.
• Demonstrate leadership, problem solving, time management, and adaptability.
• Follow company policies (EEO, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley).
• Possess or attain licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components and related equipment.
