Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Applied Science or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Three years supervision experience in a maintenance/operations role in a fast-paced unionized environment.
• In-depth knowledge of a continuous process manufacturing facility; experience with overhaul, machining, pneumatics, hydraulics and piping repairs.
• Experience with Process Improvement Methodologies.
• Experience driving Preventative Maintenance Systems.
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends.
• Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excel interpersonal, communication, leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Windows and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Supervises plant maintenance personnel and is responsible for planning, leading, organizing, controlling, coordinating, scheduling and assigning all work requirements (breakdown, preventive maintenance, predictive techs, projects and day-to-day work orders) while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide immediate response to operational maintenance concerns and coordinate with operations to minimize production interruptions.
• Maintain accurate records of management, operations and maintenance per policies and property loss programs.
• Working knowledge of computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Supervises repairs/projects by Maintenance personnel and Contractors and ensures quality and timely completion through follow-ups.
• Plans and controls expenditures in accordance with the department's operating budget.
• Maintains safety, health and environmental policies; ensures compliance with all maintenance regulations.
