Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Dalton, GA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech I for third shift (10:00 pm–6:00 am). You will install and maintain auxiliary equipment, support production, and help keep shipments on schedule while upholding safety and quality standards.

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, assist other maintenance staff, and participate in small projects. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to work off-shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Maintaining and repairing utility and facility-related equipment as directed by the Plant Engineer.
• Assisting/training other maintenance personnel with repairs, PM's, and rebuilds.
• Collaborating closely with other departments and teams for proactive problem resolutions.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Manage small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
• Performing all duties in support of Sonoco's quality and safety policies.
