Job summary

GAF Materials Corp. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for the Statesboro ISO Plant. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment, troubleshoot drives and conveyors, and read blueprints to support a high-volume production line.

The role runs on a 12-hour night shift with a rotating schedule. Responsibilities include documenting work in Maximo, welding, pneumatics/hydraulics, and coordinating with other maintenance members to ensure safety, quality, and

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years industrial or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Read instructions, blueprints and manuals; use meters and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide general maintenance and PM on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot conveyor systems and drives from schematics.
• Read blueprints, install alignments, and perform welds as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems and VFDs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure safety and quality.
