Job summary
Sherwin-Williams is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:00 am) to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to support safety and production goals. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and uptime.
Responsibilities include lubricating equipment, electrical repairs, PLC work, HVAC and plant systems, and collaboration across departments.
Qualifications
- Two years' mechanic experience in manufacturing or distribution
- Industrial, electrical, or welding certification/licence
- One year maintenance experience with electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic concepts
- One year experience implementing PLCs
Responsibilities
- Check and refill lubricant reservoirs; inspect machinery during preventive maintenance.
- Operate shop tools and equipment; assist in maintenance tasks.
- Repair or replace defective components; assist in dismantling machinery.
- Assist in electrical projects; perform minor electrical repairs.
- Understand electrical diagrams; diagnose 115 VAC control circuitry.
- Assist in pipe fitting tasks and installation work.
- Perform repairs to power industrial equipment; assist rebuilding.
- Maintain HVAC, lighting, water and other plant equipment.
- Assist installation of new plant equipment.
- Support safety and housekeeping programs.
