Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled industrial technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and related control wiring. You will diagnose 480V 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts, and support HMI/PLC systems.

Responsibilities include programming ladder logic, maintaining encoders and load cells, and preventive maintenance on conveyors and production equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance on packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and safety procedures preferred.
• PLC programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and related wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives and soft starts.
• Maintain encoders and load cells; program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic as needed.
• Troubleshoot graphic HMI/SCADA interfaces and communication protocols including Profibus and industrial Ethernet.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment; read electrical schematics.
