Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Bartlett, IL, is seeking a maintenance technician to install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, prox switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and all related control wiring on production lines.

You will diagnose analog and digital controls in 480V three‑phase systems, program PLCs and HMIs, modify ladder logic, and perform preventive maintenance on lasers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience with packaging equipment maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and related control wiring.
• Provide troubleshooting for analog and digital controls in 480V three-phase systems, motors, VFDs, servo drives and soft starts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells; program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Modify PLC logic (ladder) and HMI graphics; diagnose serial, Profibus and industrial Ethernet communications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.
