Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the IMCU In House Registry Nights to deliver skilled patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an Illinois RN license, BLS, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional ICU and emergency certifications are preferred, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ANA standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required or ADN with plan to obtain BSN within three years.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect data, analyze outcomes, and develop an individualized plan.
• Direct care and coordinate with any assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and staff; document plans and outcomes.
• Participate in shared governance, committees, and unit projects.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans based on findings.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to guide nursing decisions.
