Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret cardiac rhythm strips; monitor telemetry.
• Assess patients physically, psychosocially, and for discharge planning.
• Plan and update care based on diagnoses with interdisciplinary input.
• Administer medications and manage pain as per care plan.
• Teach patients and families about illness, tests, medications, and wellness.
• Supervise unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure optimum care.
• Document care, interventions, and teaching in the EMR.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and activities.
