Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Additional certification or continuing education may be required based on area of practice.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a care plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities and ensure communication of patient status.
• Evaluate patient progress and update care plans accordingly.
• Document nursing care accurately in the patient record and ensure timely physician reporting.
