Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center in Tucson is seeking an ICU RN for night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The role includes assessing, planning, and delivering high-quality nursing care in a Level 1 trauma setting with a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice.

Night differential applies, with additional weekend shift incentives where applicable. New graduates are encouraged to apply via the RN New Grad search.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred for Banner Registry and Travel roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, and discharge planning areas.
• Plan and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team and family.
• Implement and monitor the nursing plan of care; document patient response.
• Educate patients and families; ensure accurate handoffs and continuity of care.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other staff as appropriate.
