Job summary

The Road Home is seeking a Housing Advocate Team Lead to provide trauma-informed leadership, ensuring respectful guest support, safe shelter, and access to critical resources. This in-person role combines guest services with operational oversight, including conflict resolution and staff mentoring.

Responsibilities include incident documentation, bed assignment support, collaboration with emergency services, and leadership during crises or as needed. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diverse and/or vulnerable populations is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed leadership to ensure respectful support and safe shelter for guests.
• Supervise and mentor a team of up to 10 staff, delegating tasks and coordinating operations.
• Document incidents, track guest stays, and assist with bed assignments and shelter rules enforcement.
• Collaborate with emergency services and internal departments during crises and training sessions.
• Attend meetings and assist with hiring processes and staff development initiatives.
