Job summary

The Road Home in Sandy, UT is seeking a Housing Advocate Team Lead to provide trauma-informed leadership, ensuring individuals experiencing homelessness receive respectful support, safe shelter, and access to resources. This in-person role combines guest services with operational oversight, including conflict resolution, safety, staff mentoring, and delegation, while maintaining Housing Focused principles.

Reports to Housing Advocate Supervisor; swing shift 3 pm-11:30 pm; full-time.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed leadership experience is preferred.
• Experience working with homeless or vulnerable populations is preferred.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Housing Advocate duties and supervise up to 10 staff.
• Ensure safe, welcoming shelter and respectful guest support.
• Document incidents and track guest stays with attention to detail.
• Coordinate with emergency services during crises and coordinate guest support.
• Assist in training new staff and participate in hiring processes.
