Job summary

Great River Health seeks a House Supervisor, a registered nurse who coordinates activities across nursing units in the absence of Nursing Director. This leadership role upholds hospital mission and engages staff to deliver high-quality care while ensuring compliance with standards.

Responsibilities include unit rounding, incident command during emergencies, and collaboration with physicians to resolve care concerns. Requires ADN and current RN license; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree and licensure required.
• ADN is required; BSN or related degree preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and other certifications within designated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across units.
• Direct supervision of nursing staff.
• Rounding on units to assess activity and staffing.
• Act as Incident Commander during emergencies.
• Communicate shift activities to leadership.
• Collaborate with physicians and leaders to resolve issues.
