Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of related work experience in protective services or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must complete TCI training and receive certification within 6 months of starting.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and physically restrain when needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigation - Respond to, investigate, and address routine complaints from patients, parents, visitors and employees with expert resources as needed.
• Monitor - Direct traffic, manage parking, and control access across the campus; provide way-finding and assistance.
• Assist clinical staff with patient restraint as directed by medical staff; maintain safety during restraints.
• Patrol - Patrol buildings/grounds by vehicle, on foot, or by bike; ensure only authorized personnel enter premises; badge visitors appropriately.
• Visitor Management - Enforce visitor policies and badge access according to approved visitors.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of related work experience

Valid driver's license

TCI training within 6 months
