Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must successfully complete TCI training and receive TCI certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and restraining patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigation - Respond to, investigate, and solve routine complaints reported by patients, parents, visitors and employees, engaging expert resources to address concerns promptly.
• Monitor - Direct traffic within Cincinnati Children’s and control parking for patients, parents, visitors and employees; escort and ensure proper badging and access.
• Assist clinical staff with patient restraint as instructed by clinical staff; maintain safety and monitor potentially combative individuals; complete annual restraint training recertification.
• Patrol - Patrol buildings and grounds by vehicle, foot, and bike; ensure only authorized personnel enter; enforce visitor policies and check badges; report safety and fire hazards.
• Visitor Management - Enforce visitor policies, badge access, and ensure proper permissions for visitors.
