Cincinnati Children's is seeking a Protective Services professional for night shift at the Burnet Campus. The role focuses on investigating routine complaints, directing traffic, and ensuring safety across the hospital grounds.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, assisting clinical staff with restraints when needed, patrolling facilities, and enforcing visitor policies to protect patients, families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to complete TCI training and receive TCI certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Physical strength, stamina, and ability to perform tasks safely (standing, lifting up to 30 pounds, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Investigation – Respond to, investigate, and solve routine complaints from patients, parents, visitors and employees.
• Monitor – Direct traffic, control parking, and manage access within the Medical Center; badge verification.
• Assist clinical staff with patient restraint as directed; maintain safety and monitoring for potentially combative individuals.
• Patrol – Patrol buildings/grounds by vehicle, foot, and bike; report hazards per safety codes; assist visitors.
• Visitor Management – Enforce visitor policies and grant appropriate access.
