This position offers a night shift and full-time schedule (11 PM to 7:30 AM) with weekend/holiday rotations. Training and background checks are part of onboarding, and a flu vaccination is required for all employees.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Must read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.
• Experience with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning of patient rooms and assigned areas to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Empties hampers, trash, and medical waste containers including sharps as required.
• Restocks supplies such as toilet tissue, towels, and soap in assigned areas.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and logs usage; reports needed repairs.
• May perform special projects like windows or wall washing and handling heavily soiled items.
• Responds to questions from patients, staff, and visitors to support service quality.
• Operates within assigned facility area with consideration for patient care and safety.
