Job summary

Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, AZ is hiring a Housekeeping EVS Associate for the Day shift (7am-3:30pm). You will join Banner Health\'s Environmental Services team to keep patient rooms and hospital areas clean, safe, and welcoming.

The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, restocking supplies, and supporting infection prevention. You’ll work in a fast-paced hospital environment, may clean morgue or COVID units, and collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a positive patient

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Ability to interpret instructions and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and safety data sheets is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks in patient rooms and assigned areas.
• Empties hampers, trash, and removes medical waste.
• Restock supplies like toilet tissue, towels, and hand soap.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report repairs.
• Complete special projects such as window washing.
• Provide courteous service to patients and staff.
