Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping EVS Associate at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. You will perform cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance to keep patient areas pristine and welcoming, supporting safety and comfort for patients, visitors, and staff.

Evening shift, full-time, with weekend/holiday rotations; you will work with cleaning chemicals, push a cart, and may be assigned to morgue or Infectious Disease Unit; background check and flu vaccine required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication with colleagues and medical staff.
• Familiarity with safety data sheets and handling cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming, polishing) per policy.
• Empty hampers, transport soiled linen, and manage medical waste as needed.
• Restock supplies across assigned areas (toilet tissue, towels, soap).
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and log usage/repairs as required.
• Undertake special projects (windows/wall washing, heavy soiled items).
• Assist patients, staff, and visitors; meet customer service expectations.
• Work within assigned facility area; interact with internal and external customers.
