UofL Health is seeking a Communications Operator on the Third Shift to greet patients, families and staff with courtesy and professionalism. You will manage hospital communications, monitor codes, page physicians, and coordinate paging devices to ensure quick access to on-call staff.

A strong emphasis on service excellence and HIPAA compliance is required. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and 1 year in a communications/operator role; 3-5 years in a similar role is preferred.

• 3-5 years of experience in a communications/operator role is preferred.
• Demonstrates customer service, communication, and professional demeanor.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor hospital communications systems and codes.
• Page physicians and staff; manage overhead pages.
• Coordinate paging and distribution of pagers and codes.
• Provide information to callers and assist with locations and directions.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect confidentiality.
• Perform routine clerical duties as needed.
