UofL Health, Inc. seeks a Communications Operator for the third shift at UofL Hospital - UMC in Louisville, KY. You will greet patients and visitors, route calls to on-call staff, and manage paging for physicians and departments.

The role requires strong customer service, ability to work under pressure, and familiarity with hospital communication systems and HIPAA standards. This position supports patient-centered care and smooth daily operations.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED/equivalent (required).
• 1 year of experience in a communications/operator role (required).
• 3-5 years of experience in a communications/operator role (preferred).

Mansioni

• Monitors hospital communications systems and alarm codes.
• Pages physicians and staff and conducts overhead pages.
• Updates on-call schedules for ~80 services.
• Ensures HIPAA privacy and security compliance.
• Provides courteous information and directions to callers.
