UofL Health is seeking a Communications Operator to provide a courteous welcome to patients, families and staff in Louisville. You will manage hospital communications, pages for physicians, and support on-call schedules to ensure rapid, accurate information flow.

The role requires strong customer service, professional communication, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strict HIPAA adherence. Third shift in this location is common.

Qualificações

• Education: High School diploma or GED/equivalent is required.
• Experience: One year in a communications/operator role is required.
• Experience: 3–5 years in a communications/operator role is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients, families, physicians and staff professionally.
• Monitor hospital communications systems and codes/alarms.
• Page physicians and staff; coordinate paging and location information.
• Maintain on-call schedules and respond to urgent information needs.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
