Job summary
AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver hospice crisis care across Orange, Osceola and Seminole Counties in Florida. This full-time night-shift role requires compassionate care, accurate documentation and strong family support.
The position covers multiple counties with provided mileage reimbursement and company devices. RN licensure in Florida and BLS CPR are required, with 2+ years of nursing experience preferred within home health or acute care settings.
Qualifications
- RN license in Florida required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience as RN
- Home health or acute care experience preferred
- BLS CPR certification required
- Driver's license required
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in crisis care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and manage symptoms for comfort
- Educate and support family members and caregivers
- Document care and update medical records accurately
- Coordinate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulatory standards
